Dress Code
We want our Wedding Day to be a colorful expression of joy and our guests to feel elegant & comfortable! Alana’s put together a mood board for ideas and inspiration but we’d encourage you to bring your full selves and creativity to the wedding. As it’s a wedding, there’s a level of formality required and as such, there are some universal principles we wanted to share, not to constrain your creativity, but to help you focus it!
Ladies / Damas
Style: Full-length dress or suit. If wearing a hat or fascinator, a midi-length dress is also appropriate.
Colours: We kindly ask that you avoid wearing black or white. White, of course, is reserved for the bride, and black doesn’t match the celebratory tone we’re hoping for.
The rest is up to you! Solids and prints are both welcome.
GENTLEMEN
If you’re attending internationally, please essentially follow the format of what you would wear to an English summer wedding, In case you haven’t before, here are some pointers.
Please Avoid Tuxedos / Black Tie
A suit, long-sleeved shirt and tie is a great option. Linen suits are welcome.
A jacket or blazer with trousers, long sleeve shirt and tie.
Dress shoes, leather or suede is fine, please also wear socks.
Try to be as colourful as possible by avoiding solid black (or white) suits/jackets
